La revoluci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica fue sin duda uno de los movimientos m\u00e1s importantes para la evoluci\u00f3n cultural del hombre, Cop\u00e9rnico fue un precursor de \u00e9sta aportando nuevas ideas a su \u00e9poca, que aunque fueron propuestas anteriormente poco \u00e9xito tuvieron. El presente art\u00edculo biogr\u00e1fico ofrece una peque\u00f1a perspectiva sobre la vida y obra de Nicol\u00e1s Cop\u00e9rnico vista desde su casa y ciudad natal, Torun; en este trabajo se reflejan algunas de las principales vivencias que marcaron la vida del cient\u00edfico y la forma en que su conocimiento impact\u00f3 sobre otras personas no solo de su \u00e9poca si no muchos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s y que a la fecha son estudiadas.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Scientific Revolution was without a doubt one of the most important movements for the cultural evolution of mankind. Copernicus was a precursor to this period of time, contributing theories that had been merely ideas before, but not alltogether accepted. The present biographical article offers a new perspective on the life and work of Nicolas Copernicus, seen from his native city, Torun. This essay will reflect on some of the principal life events of this scientist, and the manner in which his work has impacted, not only in his time, but many years after and to this day are still considered.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
