RESUMEN<\/strong><\/p>\n

A partir de la documentaci\u00f3n existente en el Archivo del IES Luis de G\u00f3ngora se reconstruye el per\u00edodo en el cual Don Antonio Ja\u00e9n Morente desempe\u00f1\u00f3 el cargo de director del Instituto de segunda Ense\u00f1anza de C\u00f3rdoba (1931-1936), tomando como punto de partida un informe de 1932 al Ministro de Instrucci\u00f3n P\u00fablica sobre c\u00f3mo poner en marcha un proyecto educativo en la ciudad acorde con los presupuestos ideol\u00f3gicos del nuevo r\u00e9gimen pol\u00edtico instaurado en Espa\u00f1a, cuyos pilares fundamentales ser\u00edan extender la educaci\u00f3n al conjunto de la poblaci\u00f3n, el laicismo y la coeducaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the existing documentation in the Archive of the IES Luis de G\u00f3ngora, the period in which Don Antonio Ja\u00e9n Morente served as principal of the Institute of Secondary Education of C\u00f3rdoba (1931-1936) is reconstructed, taking as a starting point a report of 1932 to the Minister of Public Instruction on how to implement an educational project in the city in accordance with the ideological assumptions of the new political regime established in Spain, whose fundamental pillars would be to extend education to the population as a whole, secularism and coeducation.<\/p>\n
