En diciembre de 2019 me pidieron que impartiese una conferencia al alumnado de 2\u00ba bachillerato del IES Luis de G\u00f3ngora sobre la Constituci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola de 1978 y en vez de volver a referirme a una serie de lugares comunes sobre la misma, decid\u00ed enfocar mi intervenci\u00f3n en mis recuerdos de aquellos a\u00f1os, una especie de memoria viva de la transici\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica espa\u00f1ola, ya que tuve una peque\u00f1a participaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica en la misma al ser elegido concejal del ayuntamiento de mi pueblo natal, And\u00fajar, en las elecciones del 8 de mayo de 1983, aunque no dur\u00f3 mucho esta experiencia pues el 14 de noviembre de ese mismo a\u00f1o presentaba mi dimisi\u00f3n alegando motivos personales y sin dar una explicaci\u00f3n convincente de lo que me hab\u00eda llevado a dar ese paso. En esos d\u00edas, apareci\u00f3 en Diario Ja\u00e9n un art\u00edculo que remarcaba que en los ambientes culturales de la ciudad hab\u00eda creado pesadumbre esta dimisi\u00f3n, pues \u00e9sta era el \u00e1rea de la que me ocupaba. Me puse a preparar Oposiciones para Agregado de Bachillerato, que era como entonces se llamaban y en 1984 consegu\u00ed aprobarlas siendo mi primer destino un instituto de El Puerto de Santa Mar\u00eda.<\/p>\n

In December 2019 I was asked to give a lecture to the 2nd year high school students of the IES Luis de G\u00f3ngora on the Spanish Constitution of 1978 and instead of referring to a series of common places about it, I decided to focus my intervention on my memories of those years, a kind of living memory of the Spanish democratic transition, since I had a small political participation in it when I was elected councilor of the town council of my hometown, And\u00fajar, in the elections of May 8, 1983, although I did not This experience lasted a long time because on November 14 of that same year I presented my resignation alleging personal reasons and without giving a convincing explanation of what had led me to take that step. In those days, an article appeared in Diario Ja\u00e9n that remarked that this resignation had created grief in the cultural circles of the city, since this was the area I was in charge of. I began to prepare Oppositions for High School Attach\u00e9, which was what they were called then, and in 1984 I managed to pass them, my first assignment being a high school in El Puerto de Santa Mar\u00eda.<\/p>\n
