Ditko encandil\u00f3 a todos con una etapa perfecta al frente de The Amazing Spider-Man, no sin antes despedirse con un homenaje a Ayn Rand, una vi\u00f1eta que marc\u00f3 un hito hist\u00f3rico: \u00a1Spider-Man levantando una mole de escombros a punto de aplastarlo, mientras exclama \u00abI\u2019M FREE!\u00bb (\u00ab\u00a1SOY LIBRE!\u00bb) en una postura como la escultura de Atlas sosteniendo el mundo en el Rockefeller Center por Lee Lawrie, s\u00edmbolo de la novela Atlas Shrugged. Correr\u00e1 el rumor de que, al abrazar la filosof\u00eda objetivista, se hab\u00eda vuelto un reaccionario despiadado. Se extendi\u00f3 la creencia de que Ditko era tan radical y extremista como Rand. Eso no es cierto. Pero fue pionero en trasladar ideas filos\u00f3ficas al c\u00f3mic.<\/p>\n

Ditko dazzled everyone with a perfect run on The Amazing Spider-Man, but not before saying goodbye with a tribute to Ayn Rand, a panel that marked a historical milestone: Spider-Man ra-ising a mass of debris about to crush him, while exclaims \u00abI\u2019M FREE!\u00bb in a posture like the sculp-ture of Atlas holding the world in Rockefeller Center by Lee Lawrie, symbol of the novel Atlas Shrugged. Rumor will spread that, by embracing the objectivist philosophy, he had become a ruthless reactionary. The belief spread that Ditko was as radical and extremist as Rand. That is not true. But he was a pioneer in transferring philosophical ideas to comics.<\/p>\n
