Se citan criterios conceptuales b\u00e1sicos necesarios para la docencia del periodo Cuaternario en Educaci\u00f3n Secundaria, como los establecidos para definir el periodo, sus l\u00edmites y divisiones. As\u00ed mismo, se analizan los contenidos curriculares en temas geol\u00f3gicos y paleontol\u00f3gicos en esa etapa educativa, y se hacen consideraciones respecto a la necesidad de su incremento, con el fin de asegurar una formaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica que facilite la comprensi\u00f3n e interpretaci\u00f3n de los fen\u00f3menos relacionados con la crisis clim\u00e1tica actual.<\/p>\n

Basic conceptual criteria necessary for the teaching of the Quaternary period in High School are cited, such as those established to define the period, its limits and divisions. Likewise, the curricular contents on geological and paleontological issues in this educational stage are analyzed, and considerations are made regarding the need for their increase, in order to ensure an academic training that facilitates the understanding and interpretation of the phenomena related to the current climate crisis.<\/p>\n
